A former Lakeland instructor, Glenn Charlesworth has added going to class once at week to the list of his presidential duties. He also does a Prez Says blog.
Recognizing 25 years
Alice Stewart, vice president academics, research and innovation, was one of several staff members recognized for 25 years of service at the Nov. 2009 employee recognition ceremony.
The Disney way
Mickey's ears were a bonus to attending the Disney Institute for Ralph Troschke. A theatrical devotee, Ralph has been in three Lakeland Performing Arts productions taking up the characters ranging from Russian peasant to English writer.
Tasty tourism for principal
Lloydminster campus principal Wendy Plandowski, an alumni of Lakeland College's university studies program, takes time to make a selection at the fall 2009 tourism luncheon. The ready to work program prepares students to take on a variety of roles in the tourism industry including food service.
