Student job opportunities vary throughout the year. For example, during the school year computer lab monitor and recreation positions are available on campus. Lifeguard positions are available at the pool year-round. Summer sees a variety of jobs available in residence, on the farm and in many of the business units such as finance and information technology.

Student Web Assistants Competition No: 17-STU-008WB

We are looking to hire two Web Assistants in Marketing.

Key responsibilities:
•  Website updates and population
•  Includes but not limited to events, program pages, calls to action, broken links, stale pages, photos, and graphics

These are Student AUPE appointments at the Vermilion campus, commencing as soon as possible and ending May 31, 2017, with the possibility of an extention to June 30, 2017.

Wage: $13.00 per hour, plus 11.2% holiday and vacation pay.

Student Recycle Helpers Shipping/Receiving

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist withblue bin recycle pickup and delivery
Job Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license
These are student appointments, (approximately 3-4 hours per week) on the Vermilion campus,commencing as soon as possible and ending April 28, 2017.

Wage:  $13.00 per hour, plus 11.2% holiday and vacation pay

Student Equipment Room Workers (Lloydminster) Competition No: 17-STU-002WB
Lakeland College invites applications for Equipment Room Workers in the Recreation department. Duties include assisting with equipment and weight room supervision. You will be required to work evenings and weekends assisting the gym and fitness area.

These are student AUPE appointments at the Lloydminster campus commencing as soon as possible and ending June 30, 2017.

Wage: $13.00 per hour, plus 11.2% holiday and vacation pay.

Equipment Room Workers (Vermilion) Competition No: 17-STU-001WB
Lakeland College invites applications for Equipment Room Workers in the Recreation department. Duties include assisting with equipment and weight room supervision. You will be required to work evenings and weekends assisting the gym and fitness area.

Lakeland College invites applications for Student Cashiers in the Recreation Department. Duties include cashier duties, answering phones, and taking swimming lesson registrations. Cashier experience would be an asset.

These are student appointments at the Vermilion campus, commencing as soon as possible and ending June 30, 2017.

Wage: $13.00 per hour, plus 11.2% holiday and vacation pay.

Student Research Assistants No: 17-STU-007WB
We are looking to hire two Student Research Assistants in Applied Research.
Key responsibilities:
•  Assist with seed and fertilizer preparation
•  Assist with seeding, spraying, and harvest operations
•  Assist with data collection
•  Conduct trial maintenance (eg. mowing)

These are Student AUPE appointments at the Vermilion campus, commencing May 1, 2017 and ending September 1, 2017.
Wage: $13.00 per hour, plus 11.2% holiday and vacation pay.
