Dreams, Opportunities & Possibilities

Your first step was the hardest one--deciding to go back to school. At Lakeland College we make all the next steps easier helping you find the best place to start with your return to school.

Our academic upgrading programs are all based on the Lloydminster campus.

Adult Basic Education prepares you to move on to high school equivalency. This is also a great option if you haven't been in school for awhile and want to sharpen your skills and knowledge before taking on the specifics of high school courses. There's even a basic computer course to make this technology work for you.

Whether you didn't complete high school or want to improve your grades, High School Equivalence is for you. Along with writing skills, computer literacy, math and the sciences, we also have a a course to help you with career and post-secondary success. You'll also use the same lab facilities as our university transfer students with up-to-date equipment.

College preparation can include any of our adult basic education offerings plus some specific refresher English and Math courses to help you succeed at the college level. You can also take college prep classes along with regular college classes.

Not sure which option is for you? Our all day mandatory information sessions will help you find the right path. The next one is March 15, 2012.
