Back by popular demand our Theatre for Kids Camp is set for August again this year! We are also pleased to introduce Glee Choir Summer Camp!! So let them wrap up their summer with one of our fun and invigorating camps!


Musical Theatre for Kids - QDRA 117 (ages 5-8)

Triple threat Theatre for 5-8 Kids summer campDesigned for students aged 5 - 8 years of age, students will learn basic singing techniques, choreography and be introduced to preliminary acting techniques. Students will be introduced to methods of theatrical and musical performances.

  • Friday's class will wrap up at 1:00 pm following the students lunch hour presentation. Please bring a bagged lunch and enjoy the performance.

Theatre for Kids – Senior - QDRA 118 (Ages 9-17)

Triple threat theatre for 9-17 kids summer campOlder students (Ages 9 – 17) will delve a little deeper into the acting world, learning basic singing techniques and voice warm-ups, choreography, improvisation, script work and scene analysis.

  • Friday's class will include a lunch hour presentation of what students have covered during the week. Please bring a bagged lunch and enjoy the performance

Triple Threat Theatre for kids Instructor Kathryn EdwardsKathryn Edwards is a former student of the Lakeland College music department and completed her Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance at the University of Regina. She has extensive drama training and has taught both drama and musical theatre classes along with directing full length musical productions. Kathryn has directed the successful Lakeland College performing arts productions of Honk Jr, Seussical Jr , and the junior versions of Disney’s Beauty & the Beast, Annie and Shrek the Musical. 

Glee Choir - QDRA 336

Get introduced to Glee Choir and will sing, sing, sing. Sign up for this half-day, week long high energy camp especially for young singers. Minimum is age 9.

This camp will bring young voices together to sing in an ensemble setting. Create unique harmonies and explore popular pieces of music that features today's popular songs and classics from years passed.

Your registration is not complete until payment in full has been received. All payments for the Theatre for Kids Summer Camps are due with registration

First right of refusal for camp times is provided to all returning students. Registrations for new students are date and time stamped. New registrations and students will be taken based on a first come, first served basis.

Please leave cell phones, iPhones, iPads, video games and all other electronic devices at home.

Withdrawal & Refund Policy 

·         100% refund if you withdraw two full working days prior to the start date of your lessons. 

·         50% refund when withdrawing  after first class and prior to second class. No refunds thereafter.

·         You must notify Lakeland College if you withdraw from the course. Non-attendance does not constitute notice of withdrawal.
