QCOM222Introduction to AutoCAD An in-depth, hands-on and interactive look at the basic features and tools that computer aided drafting has to offer. Learn the basic functions of the program as well as time saving techniques and methods.
QCOM205AutoCAD 2D Level I Accuracy is the primary focus as you build on skills you've already learned by covering 2D drawing, isometric drawings and other forms of technical drawing. You'll create drawings from scratch and be able to modify existing drawings. Other topics include AutoCAD theory, syntax, special features, inserting 2D geometry, drawing manipulation, editing, measuring, and line types.
QCOM 206AutoCAD 2D Level II Learn advanced concepts and skills to become a productive drafter or designer using AutoCAD. Use tools to draw with speed and accuracy, look at designs from different views, and fine-tune drawings or designs with all the work of manual drafting. Topics include graphic manipulation, grips, cross-hatching, dimensioning, library parts/blocks and special lines. Reference lines, utility commands, snap control, management commands, special lines and solids. Metric and Imperial units will be covered.
QCOM 207AutoCAD Level III (3D Modelling) Learn to produce 3D models and multiview drawings of the models. Topics include isometric drawings, viewing 3D models, using world and user coordinate systems to create 3D wire frames, XYZ filters and modelling to complete the wire frames.
QCOM 208AutoCAD Level IV Guided Project Demonstrate proficiency with AutoCAD by producing industry standard drawings. Learn productivity tips and overlooked or underutilized features in AutoCAD. Showcase the skills you learned in a practical fashion. This guided project, a take home assignment, will be the first of the architectural discipline and will be drafted in the job's entirety.

2. You must purchase a Flash drive/USB for storing your work.
3. A one-time $75 application fee is required at time of registration for the entire program.
