2nd Class Power Engineering – Certificate – Lloydminster

Admissions Requirements

  • valid provincial or interprovincial 3rd class power engineering certification
  • be at least 18 years of age

Graduation Requirements

​When you complete the requirements with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.30, along with at least 80% attendance,  you will be awarded a Certificate in Second Class Power Engineering.

Note: 65% is the passing mark for each course. This also is the Alberta Boilers Safety Association (ABSA) passing grade.

Power Engineering Certification
If you graduate from the Lakeland College program, you will receive a time 9-month reduction towards your Second Class Power Engineering certification.
