Further Study Options
After you graduate you can stay at Lakeland College and take another environmental sciences major, or you have direct entry into our Bachelor of Applied Science: Environmental Management programOr, you can transfer to a university and earn a degree in 2 more years. That's both a diploma and a degree in four years! You'll receive up to two years (60 hours) credit when you transfer to a university. CARE graduates have gone on to:
- The University of Alberta - either Land Reclamation or Conservation Biology
- The University of Saskatchewan - Environmental Science or Soil Science
- The University of Lethbridge - Environmental Science

If you want to transfer to another institution, you must ensure that you meet the admission requirements of that institution. However, meeting the requirements does not guarantee that you will be accepted, especially in programs with quotas of other qualifying factors.
