- How to care for individuals holistically in the community, hospitals, long term care facilities, maternity, pediatrics and mental health settings.
- Different nursing techniques, skills and pathophysiology on disease's and body system.
- Lab and Practicums experience provided the best learning opportunities.
- Nursing skills, the ability to take care of any stable patient and the scope of practice that as nurses it is important that we learn.
- How to provide the best possible care to patients with confidence.
- Ensuring personal biases & opinions must not interrupt care that you provide.
- The theory classes and practical learning that I obtained during this course is extremely important to me as I will be able to utilize all of this knowledge in my future career.
- I learned the skills necessary to be able to perform nursing skills and duties and I learned what it means to be a licensed practical nurse and what a licensed practical nurse is in the health care field.
- Everything I learned I felt was very important.

- The nursing instructors are very approachable. They are very helpful in helping you and guiding you throughout the course.
- This is an awesome program, I would encourage anybody to take this course! I enjoyed my experience with Lakeland College and the instructors, they were very helpful and I very much enjoyed my practicum instructors!
- Overall I am very happy with Lakeland College. It is great to have been involved in such a highly respected school. The facilities available, ex: library, computer labs, Student Services, are very well run and the staff is extremely helpful. The nursing program is a great program, and I would highly recommend it to other individuals interested in entering the health field.
