Job opportunities abound for education assistants, and this program can have you work-force ready in less than a year. You'll have 10 weeks of classes in 2 semesters and 5 weeks of practicum time putting your learning into action at the end of each semester.Our educational assistant program prepares you to work with students from kindergarten through grade 12.
With courses like sensory development, supporting languages arts and two exceptionalities courses, you will work with students on an individual basis and with small groups under the supervision of a teacher.
You'll put what you learn to work during two supervised practicums, one in the fall and one in the spring.
