This accreditation comes with an annual review. In 2009 Lakeland College was recognized with an Excellence in Education as part of the review process. Our students have also placed in the annual NKBA competitions for 9 consecutive years.When a Lakeland graduate completes a 160-hour internship in the kitchen & bath industry, they qualify to submit an NKBA graduation verification form. This gives them recognition from the NKBA and allows them to sit for the Associate Kitchen & Bath Designer (AKBD) exam.
