Bachelor of Applied Business: Emergency Services Vermilion Campus
You’ve been in emergency services for awhile, and want to move up the ladder.
This post-diploma applied degree program is designed just for you. From your background in fire and medical services, policing, corrections, municipal emergency response or private/industrial emergency services, you’ll develop integrated management and leadership skills to achieve your career goals. And as the program is mostly online, you can continue to earn while you learn.
The BAppBus:ES program accepts new students for a program intake each September. Students attend a face-to-face orientation session, and one week-long face-to-face course in the 2nd year. The rest of the program is delivered online.
Online also means you can take this program from across Canada.
Elective modules emphasize the integrated nature of emergency services and provide students with a holistic view of emergency services leadership.
Conventional classroom delivery can be an option. If or when workshop or just-in-time industry training sessions are scheduled, you will be notified of upcoming dates and locations through the program coordinator.
At the end of 2 years, you’ll complete two 16-week long directed practicums. This includes a supervised management project and a written report.
