Tours can be of a specific campus, or a specific part of a campus such as the emergency training centre, farm or residence. Take a look at some example visits in  the drosp down below to see a Lloydminster Comp trip to Health & Wellness on our Lloydminster campus and Grade 10 Career & Life Management (CALM) students from J.R. Robson who spent a day on the Vermilion campus.

LCHS visits Health & Wellness
Hands-on tour of the PN lab Grade 10 to 12 students from the Lloydminster Comprehensive High School (LCHS) interested in occupations in the healthcare field received an interactive Live the Learning experience during a workshop and campus tour at the Lloydminster campus this semester. The students were hosted by the college's health and wellness department. In addition to a campus tour and lunch, they were able to participate in a hands-on workshop in the college's nursing lab.   They also had the opportunity to try out several pieces of the hands-on teaching equipment used in the practical nurse program including the iStan. "It was an amazing educational experience," says LCHS career counsellor Melanie Mutter. "During the time of the visit, several students were excitedly awaiting to do their interviews as part of the application and admission process for the practical nursing program. It was also an eye-opener for other students who hadn't yet made their post-secondary choices."
CALM comes to Lakeland
Both semesters--all Grade 10 students--of J.R. Robson's Career & Live Management (CALM) visited Lakeland College for a day in November. Their day included:  trying their hand at welding visiting the small animal clinic checking out blood samples in an Animal Health Tech class learning about organizational behavior in a blindfolded exercise visiting the office admin model office sitting in on a plants class touring the student managed farm touring the emergency training centre joining college students at lunch in the cafeteria.
