Come look at us!

Our information sessions in late winter/early spring particular to specific program areas will return in 2016. There's also Open House in October.

But you don't have to wait to come to Lakeland College. There's a standing invitation to visit our campuses! Request a tour, come be a student for a day and meet or contact one of our enrolment specialists.

Ag-Citing - Agricultural Sciences - Vermilion
Ag-Citing (Agricultural Sciences) was March 13, 2015. It was also Little Royal Weekend March 13-15 including Western Canadian Judging Championships, Stockman's Club Shows, ranch rodeos and intercollegiate Little Royal Rodeo.

The U in Business - Business
Prospective students, applicants, parents and counsellors were all welcome for the business info session, The U in Business.

Lloydminster continuing education courses & programs - Feb 24, 2015
Talk one-on-one with program facilitators or instructors to find out more about the various options to continue your education with Lloydminster based programming.

It's not just what your can take on campus, there are also online and blended learning programs.

Two of those programs are brand new Production Field Operator and Fired Process Heater Operator.

Also learn about other career enhancing programs:
  • Online Power Engineering
  • Evening Power Engineering
  • Gas Process Operator (GPO)

Performing Arts are also in the spotlight. Discover music and drama lessons offered by Lakeland College.







Energy & Petroleum Technology - Lloydminster
Participants in 2015 got a sneak peak at the new Energy Centre. It will be operational when Energize Your Future rolls around again in 2016.
Enviro-citing - Environmental Sciences - Vermilion
Enviro-Citing is held in early March. Watch for a name change in 2016.



Fire & Emergency Services - online - TBA
Ignite your career with a online workshop featuring Lakeland's firefighter training and the emergency services technology programs. Previous sessions have run from 5 to 7 pm.

TLC@LC - Health & Wellness
Esthetician and health care aide were in the spotlight, and participants also got to take part in the campus Wellness Fair.

Human Services - Vermilion
The  Human Services Preview includes Child & Youth Care, Early Learning & Child Care and Educational Assistant.

The day includes tours, information sessions, meeting instructors and generally learning more about Lakeland and your chosen program.
Sign Language & Deaf Studies - March 13
On March 13, American Sign Language & Deaf Culture Studies and Sign Language Interpretation programs will be part of the Alberta School for the Deaf Open House in Edmonton. The school is located at 6240 - 113 Street.

6:30 pm - presentation and introduction to the Sign Language programs. Room TBA
7:30 pm - Q & A session with students, grads, staff and employers. You'll also have an opportunity to apply.

Please pre-register by March 11 using the online registration form.
Interior Design - Vermilion
The 2nd Design-citing  was March 20 on the Vermilion campus.

Pre-employment Hairstylist Feb 24, 2015
Our pre-employment hairstylist instructors and students will be taking a night off from the salon and be on hand to share their insights.

Find out about:
  • course content
  • work experience placements
  • evening and weekend classes
  • when to visit our Open Salon to see our students in action.
Come-and-go format, so drop in between 6 and 8 pm.

Street Rod Technologies - Vermilion
Get fired up about your career...Learn more about our street rod technologies programs. Includes a tour of the SRT lab and a look at current student projects.

Hop on the UT Transfer Train - Lloydminster
Students who have applied and been accepted to Lakeland's university transfer program can take the next step in their university education at a UT info session. Transfer information is key for anyone who starts their university education at Lakeland. Check on Hop on the Transfer Train.
