ATCO Electric, Vermilion Office - Supporting Lakeland for Years

ATCO Electric, Vermilion Office is responsible for the ATCO Electric Award.

ATCO Electric recognizes the importance of academic achievement and the need to provide assistance for student success in Vermilion and rural Alberta.

This award was establish in 1983 and is awarded to a Pre-Employment Electrical or a first year apprentice Electrician student on the basis of leadership skills, enthusiasm, contributions to college activities and academic ability.

There is no application process necessary for this award because the applicant is recommended by the program faculty staff. Final approval is made by the Awards Committee and presented at Awards Night, Vermilion Campus.

ATCO Electric’s business goes far beyond delivering electricity to the thousands of homes and businesses within the service area. ATCO Electric strongly believes in being active partners with the communities they serve and with their employees. Throughout their history, ATCO Electric has supported Albertans by giving time, money and resources to a wide variety of community programs and projects.
