CORPORATE GIVING

We are proud to live in a community whose business leaders embrace philanthropy as part of their professional vision and thank those corporations and businesses who support Lakeland College each year.

Corporate support can be seen in a variety of forms around the college. For example, our resident village in Lloydminster is named for Husky Energy as the facilities were built to first house the constructions crews who built the Lloydminster upgrader, and then became a home-away-from-home for our students. Scholarships, playgrounds, cars and lab equipment are other examples of corporate support.

Currently Lakeland College has a number of major projects where we are seeking corporate support including a new oil and gas training centre in Lloydminster and a sustainable environmental centre in Vermilion (see our projects and goals page for these and other projects).
