Service for Young Leaders Recognized

A dozen years after graduating from Lakeland College, Devin Selte’s role as Servus Credit Union’s corporate trainer has earned him international recognition.

In November 2011, Selte won the Credit Union Executive Society’s (CUES) competition for top young leaders in North America for introducing the Servus Young Leader Network, a project he developed introduced to Servus Credit Union branches in Alberta in 2010. He received the award at a conference held in Las Vegas.

The Servus Young Leader Network is targeted specifically at employees aged 35 years or younger. It provides opportunities for staff members located in various geographic locations throughout the province to connect with each other, share and exchange ideas, and facilitate discussion to find solutions to common challenges
