College life sending you up the wall? Join the climbing club!Climbing club is a student run club based out of the Vermilion Campus. The club meets once a week to practice and learn new skills. Past years the Club has gone on trips to climbing gyms in Edmonton and Saskatoon. Weekly meetings and the college’s own climbing wall (Vermilion campus) gives you a chance to learn and develop climbing technique and teambuilding skills. There is no fee to join the club and to come out each week, but there is an employment opportunity with the recreation center. In order to qualify you must be certified by the College as a belayer and this has a minimal fee, which covers maintenance of gear. Working for the recreation center you can also use the wall whenever you want. The club is open to beginners and experienced climbers. We hope to see you all out in the fall!
