IT doesn't manage either your student self serve--My Lakeland--or the learning management system--Desire2Learn.

Both of these services have email help desks.
  • For MyLakeland If you are at your own computer, please click on this address myLChelp@lakelandcollege.ca to send your email. If you on a Lakeland computer, you'll need to use the form on MyLakeland. You may also stop by student services on your campus. Please have your student ID with you.

What about wireless?
Check out the details for your operating system or device on our wireless access pages for connecting wirelessly on campus.

If you live in residence, you should check with your residence office about wireless access. You have the option of setting up an internet account through Shaw Cable.
I forgot to logoff my account...is that bad?
The best practice is to always sign out. You should always log off your account as soon as you are finished using a network computer. If you don't, then you become responsible for any activities another person may perform using your account.
I saved something on a lab computer's C drive and now I can't find it?
Don't use the C drive. Get a memory stick. Burn your files to a CD or DVD.

The drives could get awfully overcrowded if every student stored things on the lab computer they use. You aren't guaranteed to get the same computer. As well, anyone who uses the computer could tamper with your files.
Where is the lost and found?
If you left something in a computer lab, we'll take it to the campus lost and found located at the SA offices.
What if I find something that is broken?
Report broken equipment  to the information technology (IT) office on your campus--BB208 in Vermilion and 2062 in Lloydminster. The offices are open 8:15 am to 4:30 pm weekdays. Vermilion IT services are open at 7:30 am weekdays go until 5:30 pm.
