To find your Media Access Control (MAC) address, first make sure that your wireless adapter is turned on.

- Open system preferences
- Open Network
- Click on AirPort, then click on Advanced
- Click on the Ethernet tab. The Ethernet ID is the MAC address of your computer
- Use the MAC address to fill out the wireless sign up sheet and return it to Information Technology in BB208 in Vermilion or 2062 in Lloydminster. Please allow IT up to 24 hours to process your wireless access request before continuing with the following steps.
- To join the wireless network, open system preferences
- Click on network
- Left click on the Network name box and choose LLCWireless
- When prompted, type the password lakeland and click OK
- When the AirPort dot goes green you are connected to the internet
