Like most graduates (or most parents of graduates) you may be anxious to know where you need to go and when you have to be there. The drop downs below give you those details. You'll also be sent a letter.
We look forward to seeing you and your family on June 1 in Vermilion and June 8 in Lloydminster.

- Vermilion Convocation is Friday June 1. Ceremonies will begin at 1:30 pm at the Vermilion Regional Centre. A tea follows on campus in Alumni Hall.Students will be required to pick up gowns and assemble from the Bentley Building. Watch for more details.
- Lloydminster Convocation is Friday June 8. Ceremonies will begin at 1:30 pm at the Vic Juba Community Theatre. A tea follows in the campus cafeteria. Students will be required to pick up gowns and assemble before the ceremonies. Watch for more details.

| What You Should Know About Convocation |
|
- Family and friends are welcome to take pictures before, during and after the exercises.
- There is no limit to the number of guest, but seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- This is a formal event. Out of respect for the event and for your fellow classmates, we ask that you wear dark colored trousers (no blue jeans) or dresses. Both ceremonies will be followed by the Convocation Tea co-sponsored by the Students’ Association.
- The ceremony will run just under 2 hours
- Souvenirs will be offered for sale during the day.

- pick up your gown, cap and stone between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm in BB 103
- by 12:30 be in the room assigned for assembly (by program area). This information will be posted in BB103
- you must be gowned and waiting in your assigned room by 1 pm
- you will walk in order from the college to the regional centre
- the convocation tea will be served at the college cafeteria immediately after the ceremony
- gowns and stoles need to be returned to BB 103 by 5:30 pm. The caps and tassels are yours to keep.
- An after party will be held at Spurs. Doors open at 8pm.

Even before you write your last exam, you need to apply to graduate.
Deadline is April 4, 2012.
Why?
- Information from the application for credential form is used for your certificate or diploma.
- If you plan to attend convocation, we need to order a gown.
- If you are the child or grandchild of a Lakeland College alumnus, then you also receive special recognition. Go to the alumni generation form page.
How?
It's easy. There's no payment required.
- Fill out the application for credential form online
- or, download application for credential form pdf (available on the online application page), fill it out and return it to the student services office on your campus in person or by mail
- or, visit student services on your campus to complete the form
