Living away from home can be difficult especially when you do not feel well. But with Lakeland College’s Health Services, your road to recovery will be much easier.

All medical services are strictly confidential and Lakeland's Health Services provides friendly and caring assistance in a safe environment.

Care & Services

Nursing care and health consultation services provided include:

Registered Nurses

If you are ill, injured or have health related questions, Lakeland College’s on-campus registered nurses can help. Health Services is located in the Student Services area at the Lloydminster and Vermilion campuses.

Hours of operation are:
Lloydminster campus -  Room 1116
Tuesday & Thursday
8:15 am to 4:30 pm

Doctor's Clinics

Both campuses have access to a doctor who will see students and staff during special clinic times in Lakeland College’s Health Services office. The schedule for doctor’s clinics is set at the start of each academic year.

For fall 2012, the Vermilion doctor's clinic will be Wednesday afternoons from 1 - 4 pm. A doctor for staff comes once a month and staff are notified by email.

The Lloydminster doctor's clinic for students is on Thursday.

    Visit Health Services if you require assistance or more information on the following:

    • International students’ visitor health care plan
      Extended Health & Dental Care Coverage

      Extended health and dental care insurance is available to Lakeland College students through the Students’ Association. The cost of this plan is included in your registration fees, however, if you have coverage under a family member’s plan, you may apply to waive benefits.

      If you are a mature student with a spouse or dependants, family coverage is available.

      Student Injuries & Accidents

      If you become injured at Lakeland College, we can help. We provide:

      • Mandatory reporting
      • Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) filing (Note: Students injured during class time or on a school field trip are covered under WCB)
