Your Responsibility:
•Assist with field work relating to vegetation management, reclamation, ESAs, groundwater monitoring, and soil and groundwater remediation projects.
•Assist with work plans and cost estimates, and summarize soil and groundwater data for review.
•Participate in field-based projects (primarily in Alberta and Saskatchewan).

Your Profile:
•Enrolled in a college or university program related to the environmental field.
•Eligible for membership as a Professional Agrologist (P.Ag.), Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), Professional Geologist or Hydrogeologist (P.Geol.), Professional Biologist (P.Biol.), Professional Forester (RPF), or other relevant professional association.

Role: As Greenhouse Operations Lead you’re main responsibility will be the watering and feeding of plants, climate settings, pest & disease management. Although your main responsibilities include taking care of plants, from time to time you will be required to offer customer service as well.

Ensuring proper growing conditions/climate
Prepare soil and flats for seedlings

Work Conditions: Conditions within a greenhouse are quite hot. This position is physically demanding, requiring bending, kneeling and lifting up to 65 lbs. Watering is very repetitive work. Holding the watering wand at chest level for an extended period of time daily. The work load is large and challenging in different capacities, but to the right person, very rewarding as well. 

Dates: April 23- July 22 (Flexible on start date and completion date)
