| Rideshare & Carpools | ![]() |

This free SA service is for students & staff who are planning to travel. Drivers who are heading off to somewhere and are willing to take a passenger with them can post their name, destination, travel date, and contact number. Anybody who needs a ride can also post their request. The Rideshare program sign-up sheet is posted on the Off-Campus Information board located outside the cafeteria and there is also one in the residence office. A drive to anywhere is much more interesting when you have someone to travel with. |

| Part of your SA fees go toward the annual yearbook. If you'd like to get involved by sharing photos or working on yearbook, check out the yearbook page. The yearbook club meets weekly to work on this year's yearbook. | |
| Class Rep Committee | ![]() |

The class rep committee has one student from each year of each program. The committee meets monthly (dinner provided). Reps discuss class concerns & questions and relay answers and other info back to your class. For more information, to become a member, or to bring an issue forward, stop by the SA Office in BB 118 and talk to the VP academic, or email vsaacademic@lakelandcollege.ca. You can also talk to Jean, the Vermilion campus Students' Association General Manager. |

This committee provides issue awareness programming about issues that affect you as a student or as a citizen. Members help with events as varied as the Alzheimer Society Coffee Break, info about responsible alcohol use, safer sex info, Food Bank drive, BYOB (banana split night) and World AIDS day. New programming is introduced every year. For more information, stop by the SA Office in BB 118 and talk to the SA Awareness Coordinator, or email vsaawareness@lakelandcollege.ca. | Buying and selling used text books | ![]() |

Lakeland is now a member of the locazU website where you can post and find used textbooks. It's a new way to sell used books and for people who are looking for used books, On the webpage go to “Find used textbook”, then select school and pick Lakeland College under Alberta. It’s free to post a book on the website; you just need to make a profile. The site also allows you to post events. |
