Citation Guides

A number of citation styles are used at Lakeland College, including: APA, MLA and Chicago. Be sure to check with your instructor as to which citation style you should use for your assignments. 

APA Style

  • APA Quick Guide
  • NOTE: APA has been updated to a 6th edition and our APA Quick Guide has recently been updated to accommodate its changes.

Lakeland College - Environmental Science Style

NOTE: Environmental Science students will follow the style adopted by the Rangeland Ecology and Management journal (see link below)

  • The Environmental Sciences Quick Citation Guide , compiled by the communication instructor(s), is applicable to all courses in the environmental science program.
  • Environmental Science students are requested to follow the citation style for the Rangeland Ecology and Management  journal (see 'For Authors') . Using the work of others without giving credit to your source is considered plagiarism.
