Experience / Background:
Doreen was recently recognized for 10 years at Lakeland College. She began teaching business courses here in 1997. Her impressive education background includes a BComm, BA and MBA from the University of Saskatchewan. She also earned a Certificate in Adult Ed from St Francis Xavier University and is entitled to use the Canadian Institute of Management's PMgr designation. Her work experience includes accounting technician and assistant manager.
About Me:
Doreen is currently faculty advisor for Team Lakeland, a team of business students who participate in the annual Alberta Deans of Business Case Competition. The team won silver in 2008.
In 2008 Doreen was honoured with the student's association staff distinction award that recognizes staff who have contributed in special ways to student life.
She enjoys meeting, teaching and working with different people at Lakeland College.
