Geo Energy Exchange - Installation
Experience / Background:
Eric Dickie has been involved with installations of a variety of designs – vertical, horizontal, lake or ocean-based, closed and open loop. He is experienced with the equipment and tools of the trade.
Eric has a leading presence as a certified IGSHPA (International Ground Source Heat Pump Association) and CGC (Canadian GeoExchange Coalition) trainer. He is sought as a consultant in updating and developing training in the energy exchange world.
His past and present responsibilities allow him to develop problem-solving skills, to use effective teaching skills, and to share his technically-based experiences.
His educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in math and physics, an education certificate, interprovincial journeyman’s papers in carpentry, a master’s degree in educational leadership, and his training and experience to certify him as an instructor in heat management.
About Me:
He believes strongly in the validity of energy exchange technologies. He recognizes that one of the potential pitfalls of the industry is a significant increase in demand that leads to unqualified people becoming involved in heat management and the risk of negative development within the industry. He uses his unique set of skills to help move the energy exchange industry in a direction that develops trained and certified energy exchange experts, and ultimately the continuation of a successful industry for all.
