Rustlers Athletics had plenty to celebrate at the annual awards evening in Lloydminster
For the first time Lakeland had All-Canadians in men's soccer, Stefan Cukovic, and men's volleyball, Savana Walkingbear, as well as the first Canadian coach of the year in men's soccer, Kevin Wagner.

After each team recognized its individual winners, the 2014-15 athletes of the year were announced by interim president Alice Wainwright Stewart. Three-sport athlete Leesa Eggum was the female athlete of the year and double-sport athlete Braydon Bretzer was the male athlete of the year.

Quotable quote: “We challenge our athletes to uphold three pillars as Rustlers: classroom, community and competition. Both Braydon Bretzer and Leesa Eggum demonstrated athletic achievement, but modeled the other dimensions of what makes a great student athlete,” says Al Rogan, athletics and recreation coordinator.
