Human services flourishes online
Three years ago there were 3 students in the first online human services courses. When this winter term started there were over 300 course registrations by 165 students. That total includes 19 students in the French ELCC program.
Enviro Club promotes on campus recycling
The 3 R's are more than reading, 'riting and 'rithmetic for Lakeland College's Enviro Club members. The club has started a poster program promoting the Vermilion campus recycling program with bins for refundables, white paper and other paper. Their awareness day came just after another successful Greenspiel (see photo gallery for pictures).

, 3 ahead of Kurri Carlson. And there's still 6 matches left in the season...The men's futsal team won 3 and lost by a single goal to arch rivals Keyano at the first futsal tournament of the season. The women were 1-2-1. Their next tournament is mid-February in Olds and the Rustlers host the provincial championships March 6 - 8
