To accommodate a growing number of graduates Lakeland College will host two convocation ceremonies in Vermilion this year. Both are at the Regional Centre on May 30. Graduates of environmental sciences and human services programs will be honoured at 11 am. Agricultural sciences, emergency services, interior design and street rod technologies are at 2:30 pm. Convocation in Lloydminster is June 6 at 1:30 pm. Distinguished alumni for this year are Lloydminster Mayor Rob Saunders and Allan Shenfield of Spruce Grove. Distinguished citizen honours go to Vic Juba of Lloydminster and former Alberta premier Ed Stelmach.
