High school students experiment in UT labs
While Lakeland College university transfer students were dealing with the stress of final exams, Lloydminster high school students were learning about spectrophotometry, graphing and more in the college’s science labs at the Lloydminster campus thanks to a new initiative between Lakeland College’s university transfer department and Lloydminster’s Catholic and public school divisions.

Town of Vermilion joins Lakeland's Centennial plans as major sponsor -
The two organizations have worked together for a lifetime so it’s fitting the Town of Vermilion
has come aboard as a major sponsor of Lakeland College’s centennial celebrations. The Town of Vermilion will contribute $25,000, provide the Vermilion Regional Centre for the centennial finale in November 2013, and display college centennial banners on numerous street light poles near Highway 41 in Vermilion for two years. New ETC prop takes training to new heights
- Built from the fuselage of a King Air 200, an aircraft commonly used as a fixed wing air ambulance, ETC's new training prop will be used as an instructional tool for the advanced care paramedic program offered in Camrose and a proposed critical care paramedic program. Read more.

Students shine at Lakeland Regional Skills Competition
- High school students from Kitscoty, Lloydminster, Mannville, Tofield, Camrose and other communities took charge of the Trades Centre April 19 during the fourth annual Lakeland Regional Skills Competition.
