PN returns to the Lloyd campus
Northern Lakes College will offer their practical nurse program at Lakeland College’s Lloydminster campus. This new collaboration is already a success. Demand is so strong that the program is already full for the fall.

Celebrating Convocation 2017
3 convocation ceremonies celebrated not only the achievements of our graduates, but also recognized distinguished alumni and citizens on each campus. Read about them as well as the student medalists.
  • Deanna Heather continued a streak of agricultural sciences students receiving the Governor General's academic medal.
  • Kendall Stewart and Casey Finstad were the President's Medalists on the Lloydminster and Vermilion campuses.
  • Two alumni from the 1980s were this year's distinguished alumni. Scott Musgrave '87 (Lloydminster) and Mike Kotelko '82 (Vermilion).
  • Honorary applied business degrees were awarded to two community-minded business men, Lakeland's 2017 distinguished citizens. John A. Stewart was saluted in Vermilion and Ken Kay in Lloydminster.

Alumni Hall featured
Alumni Hall will be showcased in the Canada 150 Mosaic mural. The series of 150 murals were created in communities across the nation. The Vermilion mural will be unveiled on June 30. And if the mural concept looks familiar, it is. Buffalo Twins, hanging at the Lloydminster campus, was created for Alberta and Saskatchewan's centennials.
