Celebrating Convocation 2015
A century after the first 2-year program students graduated from Vermilion School of Agricultural, Lakeland College saw nearly 700 students convocate in 2015.

Ag research, equine centre & student award donations
Herb and Nita Little, of Little Ranching, are the latest contributors to ag sciences at Lakeland with $10,000 going to the Equine Centre and another $25,000 to student awards. Their June donation followed an additional $150,000 from Judy Sweet in May toward the livestock research centre modernization and expansion.

programs are going strong.

Trades & Technology has a new dean. Dave King
, an alumnus and long time instructor, officially moves from chair to dean on July 1.
The new Métis Scholar Awards
are funded by an endowment from the Métis Education Foundation and will provide 2 to 4 scholarships annually.
Lakeland's green roof pavilion
got a renewal in early June with new plants that are part of an ongoing study by the Enviro Club.
