More students earn high school & college credit with dual credit project
High school students from Vermilion, Wainwright, Sherwood Park and Edmonton are doing double duty as participants in the second year of the dual credit project between Lakeland College and East Central Alberta Catholic Schools. Hands-on opportunities supplement online instruction of college courses fit within the students' school day.
Lakeland receives $25,000 from ADM for second class power engineering training development
Lakeland’s goal to increase training opportunities for second class power engineers is one step closer thanks to a donation from Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) to the tune of $25,680. The money will be used for course creation and curriculum development of a blended program.
