ATB partners with Lakeland College to co-host PBR & support Centennial
Another community supporter has saddled up to support Lakeland College’s Centennial campaign in a big way. With a new five-year commitment totaling $55,000, ATB Financial will be the title sponsor of the college’s Professional Bullriding (PBR) event that is held annually at the Vermilion campus.

Viterra has teamed up with Lakeland College’s Rustlers as the title sponsor for the 2013 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) championship for women’s volleyball.

New laser therapy equipment for AHT program gives students an edge -- It's an opportunity that few, if any, AHT students anywhere in Alberta will have -- save for Lakeland students. With the purchase of new therapeutic laser equipment, Lakeland AHT students are becoming skilled in performing laser therapy on animals in the Small Animal Clinic. Read more.

More Human Services courses offered online -
Lakeland’s online courses in its early learning child care (ELCC) and educational assistant (EA) programs are proving to be very popular.  With three more courses to be offered online in January, enrolment numbers are expected to continue to rise. Learn more.

Popular Play Program back in full swing - Squeals of delight, amazement and discovery are filling the hallways and classrooms of the Bentley Building. Lakeland's Play Program is back for another session and Lakeland's early learning and child care students have some great activities and experiences in store for the community's infants, toddlers and pre-school aged children. Rustlers prepare to take on Chinese team - It promises to be an international battle worth seeing. The Rustlers women's volleyball team will face an MVP team from China Wednesday, Dec. 5 at the Lloydminster campus. Find out more.

An evening to remember
With lots of memories, tributes and laughs to share, Lakeland College held its annual Employee Recognition Awards ceremony Thursday, Nov. 15 at the Lloydminster campus. Find out who was honoured for 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 & 35 years of service as well as those who retired from the college. Congratulations, too, to this year's Green 'n' Gold Award recipients.
