Duncan all-conference curler

Rustler Kaylee Duncan is the all-conference mixed lead in Alberta college curling.

Duncan, an animal science technology student from Abbey, Sask, was recognized at the 2017 ACAC awards banquet at Lakeland College on Feb 25.

Duncan was the only Rustler named to the three all-conference teams.

Rounding out the mixed all-conference team were two members of the Concordia team, brothers Evan and Tyler Van Amsterdam, respectively the skip and second. Ashley Wozny of Red Deer College was the all-conference mixed third.

Unique compared to other sports, the curling banquet comes mid-way through the championships. The 2017 version was at the Vermilion campus cafeteria. The awards were presented by Mark Kosak, CEO of the ACAC.
