King signs International Guard

Lakeland College Women’s Basketball is proud to announce the signing of Amy Warbrick from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The 5’6” Guard brings an impressive basketball resume north of the border. During high school, her Coeur d’Alene Vikings earned 2nd place at the State Championships in both her Freshman and Sophomore seasons. In her Junior and Senior season the Vikings won back to back State Championships. Amy spent her past two seasons playing for North Idaho College in the NJCAA. As a freshman she averaged 7.6ppg and 2.4apg leading her team to a 8th place finish at Nationals. In her sophomore year she averaged 5.4ppg and 2.0apg as she helped her team win the National Championship. Warbrick will join former North Idaho teammate Amanda Carlton in Rustlers Green and Gold next season.

“I am extremely excited to add a player of Amy’s caliber and experience to our roster for the upcoming season” states Coach King, “Amy’s commitment will really help strengthen our back court for the upcoming season. She is extremely quick off the dribble, possesses an excellent pull-up, shoots the ball very well from 3 and is able to get her teammates open.”

Amy will be pursuing her Bachelor’s degree this fall at the Lloydminster campus. Lakeland College and Lakeland College Athletics would like to officially welcome Amy to the program.
