Brief History
Lakeland's mission, vision and values were developed by collaboration. Hundreds of students, staff, industry and community members shared their ideas.
Those ideas were distilled into a mission, vision, values and outcomes. Once finalized we published them in our 2017-2010 Comprehensive Institutional Plan.
We weren't done there. A cross-functional team of employees spent 18 months looking at guiding behaviours for those values. Those guiding behaviours were launched to Lakeland College in December 2018.
