Anti-Spam and Lakeland College
We don't think our emails are spam, and we don't want you to either.
Neither does the federal government.
Regulations, known as Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), require organizations and businesses to collect consent from you for future emails and other electronic communication, as well as a way for you to unsubscribe at any time.
Starting in June 2014 Lakeland College began contacting current email subscribers to ask for consent to for them to continue to receive our emails. You have the option to unsubscribe from our email lists at any time. We have an unsubscribe button on every email.
If you have any questions or concerns about Lakeland's compliance with CASL, please call 780 853 8690.Lakeland College is currently unable to provide you with a way to opt-in to some emails and opt-out of others. If you choose to opt-in or unsubscribe, it will be to all emails.
