COVID-19 Information
All mandatory public health restrictions related to COVID-19 in Alberta were lifted in June 2022.
Isolation recommendations as of April 1, 2023:
- If you have respiratory virus symptoms or test positive for any respiratory illness you should stay home until your symptoms have improved and you feel better, to minimize the risk of transmission.
- It's also recommended you wear a mask in indoor settings for a total of 10 days from when your symptoms started, especially when around individuals who are high risk.
Managing illness at Lakeland policy
The Managing Illness at Lakeland College policy was created to help protect the health and safety of everyone who uses Lakeland facilities. The policy along with the Managing Student Illness on Campus and Managing Employee Illness on Campus procedures provide information on the expected actions if you have a fever, cough, runny nose, vomiting, joint aches or other symptoms not normally associated with allergies, chronic or pre-existing conditions.
