Required Reporting
FINANCIAL REPORTS REQUIRED BY THE ALBERTA GOVERNMENT
As a public institution, Lakeland College is responsible to the provincial government for a number of reports including an annual report and a strategic plan.
As well, every year the college's finances are audited by the Auditor General of Alberta. The audited statement is part of the annual report.
Financial accountability has also extended to reporting expenses of the college's board of governors and senior leadership team. This started in 2013. Current fiscal year expense reports as well as an archive of expense reports are available on this site.
In 2016, the government added another required report of anyone who is paid over an annual threshold through the Public Sector Compensation Transparency Act. Check out the compensation transparency page for details.
