|Instructor Trent Bloch-Hansen|
Trent Bloch-Hansen is a professional session guitarist and multi-instrumentalist from Lloydminster.
He began making music early. Along the way he earned his Grade 9 piano. He played percussion in school bands including the Saskatchewan Honour Band during high school. In 2013, he wrote a centennial song for Lakeland College.
Trent continually strives to improve his playing while on the road with his band Artificial Lift and in his local recording studio with multiple other acts.
Trent's playing is fundamentally rooted in the blues but he plays many other styles including classical, jazz and metal.
|Instructor Myck Strueby|
Myck Strueby has been playing guitar since the age of 8.
He grew up learning songs from his favorite bands. Throughout high school he also played trumpet in the jazz band.
Myck spent a year in California studying guitar at the Los Angeles College of Music where he earned a music performance diploma majoring in guitar, taking master classes with Tariqh Akoni, Bill Fowler and Art Renshaw.
Myck says he continues to learn and grow musically and that his background in both concert and jazz bands serve him well in his musical pursuits.
