From an early age Ava McCaw wanted to create music. A talented pianist, accompanist and aspiring composer, her passion is to ignite the desire and inspire the talent of music within people of all ages. A former student of the Conservatory of Music at Lakeland College, she pursued her passion for music at the Victoria Conservatory of Music summer school where she completed the Royal Conservatory of Music Grade 10 piano exam with honours.
She returned to her grassroots in Lloydminster after completing a Bachelor’s of Music degree at the University of Victoria. She is a music festival veteran and performed at the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Arts Award Gala. She finds music to be a refuge, a source of strength, a way to communicate and an avenue of expression. Ava is excited to call Lloydminster her home once again as she continues to write music and customize lesson plans for her students.
She is passionate about piano and composition alike, and enjoys teaching students of all ages.
|Instructor Kimberly Drury|
Kimberly Drury returned to Lloydminster to teach where she was once a student.
After lessons at the local Conservatory of Music, she went to the University of Saskatchewan She earned a Bachelor of Music in saxophone performance. While there she studied with Glen Gillis She continued her studies at the Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University in Illinois. She earned two degrees there, a masters in wind & percussion performance as well as a certificate in performance. Before returning to Lloydminster, she completed two years of study with internationally acclaimed saxophonist and instructor Frederick L. Hemke
Kimberly has been a soloist and chamber performer across Canada and the United States. She has extensive teaching experience with students of all ages and levels in piano, saxophone and flute.
|Instructor Eva Miller|
Eva's music background and education is in strings (cello and violin), voice and piano.
A graduate of Victoria’s Canadian College of Performing Arts she has played throughout Canada as well as at many functions and events in the Lloydminster community.
Before coming to Lakeland, Eva taught at The Dance Studio Theatre in Toronto. She also has an extensive background in drama, directs choir and ensemble classes and instructs stage fighting workshops for theatre.
Eva is known for her gentle and engaging teaching style. Her students have had success at local music festivals.
Eva welcomes cello, piano, violin and voice students of all ages and abilities to her studio.
|Schedule & Fees|
Kimberly is available for lessons Monday - Friday from 3:30 - 7 pm. Adult lessons are available during the day.
Ava is available for lessons Thursday from 4:30 - 8:30 pm.
Eva is available for lessons Tuesday & Wednesday from 4 - 7:30 pm.

The weeks of Dec 20-22, 2021 and May 30- June3, 2022 have been scheduled as make-up lesson weeks. If you are unable to schedule a make-up lesson during these allotted times or a time agreed upon with your instructor, the lesson will be forfeited.
