You're ready to be a first responder. So, prepare to live ready in the fire service or pre-hospital care. Choose our emergency services technology (EST) program. It's the only full-time diploma course of its kind in Canada.
You start with core firefighter training. Then, you either build more fire service qualifications, or take emergency medical training.
Whatever your choice, you’ll get approved training with plenty of live scenarios. And, many chances to command incidents.
You finish the program with 160 practicum hours.

In the medical specialization

Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) theory and on-site labs prepare you for ambulance and hospital practicums, and clinical rotations.

In the fire specialization

Put your practical knowledge and professional qualifications to work at a fire hall. Those include fire department vehicle driver, fire inspector and fire service instructor.
As a graduate you may write provincial International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and ProBoard certification exams.
