Program Information

Be on the front lines of health care in less than year.
As our society ages, we need more health care providers. Be part of the solution by becoming a certified health care aide
Earn while you learn. Our program is full time, but classes are on weekends. You'll attend classes for 2 hours on Friday evenings, then during the day on Saturdays and Sundays. That leaves the rest of the week free for your current job.
You'll learn in the classroom and our health care labs. Then put your hands-on knowledge to work during the clinical practicums.  Your 2 practicums are full time and could involve shift work.
As a grad, you're qualified to work with people who need individual care in:
  • home care settings
  • long-term care facilities
  • assisted living facilities
  • centres for persons with developmental disabilities
