Lakeland College students have access to computers on Campus.
Computers are available in The Commons, as well as the computer labs.
By signing on to a computer, a student agrees to Lakeland's acceptable use policy.
Below are answers to some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).

Where are the computer labs? |
Computer Labs in Vermilion:
Note: AL112, & AL116 are open Monday to Thursday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm and Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.
Computer Labs in Lloydminster:
There are student-use computers in the Commons on both campuses. They are available whenever the Commons is open. The Lloydminster student lounge also has computers for your use. |

How do I log on to a computer? |
Your Lakeland College username is firstname.lastname@edu.lakelandcollege.ca. Example: John F Smith's email address would be john.smith@edu.lakelandcollege.ca. |
What is my initial password? |
Your initial password is LLC!#### and the 4# are the last 4 digits of your student ID#. Example LLC!1234. Notes:

I've forgotten my password or I'm locked out of my account, what do I do? |
If you've forgotten your password, or are locked out of your account please call IT at 780 853 8599. Assistance is available Monday - Friday between 8:15 am and 4:30 pm. |
What is the cost of printing? |
Print credit cards may be purchased at the campus bookstore for $10.00. Check out all you should know about printing. |
What if I have a problem with a printer? |

How do I connect to Wi-Fi? |
Check connecting details for your operating system or device on wireless access page for access to Wi-Fi on campus. If you live in residence, you may also wish to purchase internet through Telus or Shaw. We recommend you get a separate account if you are an avid gamer or download a lot. |
I forgot to logoff my account... is that bad? |

I saved something on a lab computer's C drive and now I can't find it? |
Sorry, you won't be able to. Work saved to the computer is deleted when you log off. So, don't save to the C drive.

Where is the lost and found? |
Items left in a computer lab are taken to the lost and found located in the SA offices or Student Services. |
What if I find something that is broken? |
Report broken equipment to Information Technology (IT) at 780 853 8599 Monday - Friday between 8:15 am and 4:30 pm. |
