Free, confidential counselling services
When one of the best times of your life becomes the most stressful, Lakeland's counsellors are here to help.
We provide accessible and compassionate psychological supports. We use a short-term therapy model to help you improve your personal, social and academic well-being. Our goal is for you to have the best possible college experience.
Each campus has a full-time counsellor. You may book an appointment with any of them through their booking system. You'll just need to sign in to your Lakeland Office 365 account.

If a counsellor isn't available and you need immediate help, please reach out to one of the agencies, help lines or other organizations. This includes going to a local hospital emergency or calling a distress lines. See the listings below.
- Counsellor Antoine Thompson Legare is available in person on the Vermilion campus and online to all students registered with Lakeland College.
- Counsellor Emma Patenaude is available in person on the Lloydminster campus and online to all students registered with Lakeland College.
- Counsellor Laurie Mears Redden is available in person on the Lloydminster campus and online to all students registered with Lakeland College.
- Psychologist Chantel Walker is available in person on the Lloydminster campus and online to all students registered with Lakeland College.
