Lakeland alumna j'Amey Bevan charted her own path. She combined her love of horses and her passion for the trades and is now the chair of the Alberta Apprenticeship & Industry Training Board.

The Rustlers men’s and mixed rinks are off to the ACAC curling championships from Feb. 28 – March 1 in Red Deer. The mixed rink qualified second with a 7-3 record. The men qualified via a team breaker. They had the same 6-6 record as MacEwan University. The women had a tough year in a close division only managed three wins in their nine games.
