Josie Van Lent, dean of the School of Agricultural Sciences, was presented with the John J Kennelly Western Canadian Dairy Seminar Award of Merit. The award is given annually to recognize a substantial contribution to the western Canadian dairy industry in the areas of education, training or technology transfer.

Beef Day
Student organizers of Beef Day 2020 faced unprecedented challenges when gatherings of over 50 people were no longer allowed a week before their event. Rather than cancel Beef Day, they worked together to move the sale entirely online.

Fire officers from across the country come to Lakeland to earn their  Fire Officer levels 3 and 4. Jeff Fallow from Cold Lake joined fellow student Brian Brown from Newfoundland and Labrador in learning about managing a fire hall, public relations, and more.

Rustlers Recap

Our men's curling team didn't come home with a medal from nationals in Manitoba. However, the team gained valuable experience. Their 2-5 record doesn't show that some games went to last rocks. Congratulations on your season.
