Lakeland College is actively planning for the fall term and exploring program delivery options while monitoring the COVID-19 situation. To ensure students, faculty and staff can continue to plan for the upcoming year, Lakeland will finalize its fall delivery plans by mid-June.
Lakeland is pleased to announce a partnership with Ridgeline Canada Inc. that will bring work-integrated environmental training programs to Indigenous students.
Over the next three years, Lakeland's commercial agricultural research program will receive more than $1.8 million in funding through the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada's Innovation Enhancement Extend program. With this funding, Lakeland will build on a strong foundation of crop and livestock research and industry partnerships. Responding to COVID-19

Best Wishes
Lakeland staff and faculty came together to make sure our students know how proud we are of their resiliency and adaptability as we ended our semester remotely.
Lakeland is one of 11 Comprehensive Community Colleges (CCC) in Alberta. Together, the CCCs came together to celebrate the many ways Alberta's community colleges supported their students and their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as how our colleges are positioned to lead the province's economic recovery. Together, the CCCs formed a task force.
