Lakeland College is offering an introductory Cree language and culture course this spring. Participants will learn structure, phonics and conversational Cree. Taught by Clint Chocan, Lakeland’s manager of Indigenous support services, the lessons will also provide insights into Cree culture.

Lakeland College's Rustlers Athletics Rodeo Team brought home three buckles from the Canadian Intercollegiate Rodeo Association Canadian College Finals Rodeo.

 
Phil Allen, who had a remarkable 28-year coaching career in the ACAC, will be inducted into the CCAA Hall of Fame in the Coach Category.​
 
The Rustlers held their annual Rustlers Awards Night for the 2018-2019 season earlier this month. The year-end event recognizes student-athletes for their achievements in the classroom and in their respective sport.
